Job Description:

A prestigious and well known investment wealth management company based in Henley-on-Thames is looking for an Events Coordinator to join their expanding team. This is a brilliant opportunity to work for a highly accredited business who have a fantastic reputation in their industry. The main purpose of this role is to ensure Events for the business, including Client and Employee funcations are planned and delivered to a high standard. You will be reporting into the Head of Brand and Communications and working alongside a passionate team. Main duties:
  • To coordinate events from planning to completion
  • Act as the primary point of contact for events
  • Coordinate with vendors, exhibitors and stakeholders during event planning
  • Organising facilities and details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, dietary/special requirements, equipment, promotional material and entertainment
  • Managing and overseeing events on the day, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with employees and organising vendors
  • Liaising with the Brand and Communications team to create effective advertisements for each event, and when necessary crafting marketing materials such as print and Internet advertisements for individual events
  • Build and adhere to an event budget to avoid project overruns
  • Track event key performance areas and identify areas to improve future events
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
  • Has successfully worked on events previously with a minimum of two years' experience
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team, whilst managing workloads
  • Has a great deal of self-sufficiency in accomplishing their duties
  • Project management skills and knowledge of project management best practices
  • Familiarity with event registration software
  • Able to communicate with Clients and Service providers
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to undertake study
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ideally Adviser Office
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve issues
  • Excellent Organisational Skills
