Job Description:

Support Worker - Part Time - Gayton Road, Kings Lynn
We are looking for a Part Time Support Worker to join our warm welcoming team at Gayton Road, which is situated in Kings Lynn.
Gayton Road is registered for 6 female service users aged between 30 â€" 60 years old with diagnosis of mental health and learning disabilities.
Are you caring, compassionate and committed then this is the job for you; this will allow our service users to lead an ordinary live.
All service users are independent, they will require support with food shopping and banking etc.
CQC rated GOOD
Personal care is required.
Public transport links are very good.
Experience is not essential, but a positive attitude, friendly persona and a caring nature is an absolute must.
Flexibility is essential as you are required to work shifts including bank holidays and weekends.
Shift patterns are 08.00 - 15.00, 15.00 - 22.00, 09.00 - 14.00, 14.00 - 20.00 and 22.00 - 08.00 (Waking Night Support Worker)
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment
To maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families and other whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality
To support service users with the preparation of meals, laundry duties, cleaning and social events
To maintain accurate notes and records as and when required
To work as part of a team to provide high quality care
The Successful Candidate for the role will have:
NVQ in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards.
The ability to keep calm under pressure.
Confidence to work alone and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
The passion to work with vulnerable Adults.
The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding.
