Technical Analyst
Location: Sudbury, Suffolk CO10 2ZX
Salary: £19k to £24k, DOE + Profit related bonus, after probation (6 months)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Contract: Full time, Permanent
This is an entry level role, suitable for candidates that are "A" Level or degree educated, looking for a technical role.
Join our small friendly team working with interesting people and projects worldwide. The work involves undertaking technical analysis, report writing and consultancy for customers who develop tall buildings and renewable energy projects.
The Role:
We require a full time Technical Analyst to work within a team of six technical and commercial staff. As well as analysis and report writing you will also be expected to review and comment on your colleague's reports, meet our customers, support site radio and television coverage surveys and travel within the UK and overseas if required.

It is essential that:
• You can write clearly and effectively in English
• You can use Microsoft Excel
• You can engage with people and work well in a team
• You can understand and use maps and coordinates
Qualifications:
You should have qualifications that demonstrate you are technically competent; good at Maths and good at communicating in English.
Whilst there are no essential qualifications the subjects, we are particularly interested in include Maths, Physics, Science, Engineering, Town Planning, MS Excel and Renewable Energy.
Typical applicants might have "A" Levels and/or a degree.
Optional Experience:
We would be particularly interested in candidates that:
• Have worked in an office
• Have undertaken site surveys
• Have worked with GIS systems
• Understand radio propagation, renewable energy, aviation, town planning
• Have advanced Excel skills and very proficient with MS Word
• Understand aviation charts.
