Job Description:

Technician in Hair, Beauty and Media Makeup- West Suffolk College -Bury St Edmunds -Permanent - £20,870 - £22,943, 37 hours per week 52 weeks of the year.
An exciting, excellent opportunity has become available for a Technician in Hair, Beauty and Media Makeup to join our Salon here at West Suffolk College. We are looking for someone who is vibrant, enthusiastic and dedicated to helping the students thrive and develop. Role Responsibilities
* Supervise and assist students who are working on the departments receptions for both hair and beauty and be responsible for floats and takings.
* Manage the efficient operation of the dispensary area
* Work alongside director of service industries to ensure income and expenditure is in line with financial expectation of the college.
Required qualifications, skills and experience
* Good numeracy and literacy skills
* Relevant experience of working within a Hair/beauty environment.
* An understanding of vocational training within the area would advantageous.
