Senior Analytics Manager (Credit)

As Dixons Carphone grows its Credit Offering across categories we are seeking an experienced commercial analyst to develop our reporting and insight capabilities to support and develop our Credit Proposition.
The role will sit within the Customer Analytics and Insight team whilst working collaboratively with the Head of Commercial Credit to understand the short and longer term business reporting needs as well as how the Insight provided can be used within other business functions to drive credit growth and customer relevance and satisfaction.
Working in Partnership with our Third Party Credit provider the role will oversee the application of customer and segment level insights across reporting, offer development, marketing and e-commerce.
Whilst initially the role will focus upon the technical aspects of report and analytics development, the successful applicant will be expected to translate these insights into clear business initiatives and become an integral part of the Credit Senior Leadership Team.
Reporting and Development
•Work with the Credit SLT to review existing the weekly reporting and credit commercial dashboards.
•Develop and propose a roadmap for improved commercial reporting for Credit. This should be regularly reviewed and updated as new initiatives are launched.
•Identify relevant commercial trends across all channels and businesses
•Work with 3 rd parties and their data sets
Insight and Analysis
•Work with the Credit SLT to identify and report on relevant KPIs
•End to end profitability at a customer segment and portfolio level.
•Work with the Commercial and Marketing Teams alongside the Credit team to build profitability models for commercial offers to inform decision making and support business cases
•Develop forecasting models for Credit
•Support new initiatives
Offer development and campaign planning / evaluation
•Review the performance of historic credit offers and channel performance
•Work across the business and third parties to expand the range of direct to consumer credit propositions.
Leadership and Change Management
•Drive the understanding of performance metrics supporting and mentoring finance and non-finance colleagues to deliver enhanced performance across the business
•Preparation of discussion documents and presentations for the Credit SLT and DC Exec
•Experience within an analytical or statistical environment. Ideally including Retail and / or FS
•Experience of a fast paced / entrepreneurial environment
•Involvement in the production of business cases or business models
•Experience working across several different stakeholders and multiple data sources
•Expert working with analytical datasets and tools, such as SQL / R
•Proven capacity to create understandable and customer journey driven models out of complex financial and commercial data
•Bachelors / Masters Degree;
•PhD / MBA / MSc in Data Science / Professional qualifications (ACA, CIMA, ACII) beneficial
•4 + years of relevant work experience - such as within Retail / Telco consulting, Commercial Finance / Analytics - which includes hands on experience in within data and customer analytics and modelling
