Job Description:

Due to increased demand from our clients, Cooper Lomaz Recruitment are currently undertaking an expansion of their Engineering team in Bury St Edmunds, and are therefore looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join this high-performing team and expand further in both our current markets, and more niche vertices within them.

The role of a Recruitment Consultant is a varied position, with a focus on quality rather than quantity. Whilst we have KPI's, we use them as a framework to enable your success, not a tool to manage you by. The role involves maintaining and developing client relationships, identifying and developing new client relationships, sourcing candidates and managing your own desk effectively to dominate your market.

The Ideal Candidate

Passionate, self-motivated and keen to learn
A proven background in recruitment managing a 360 desk
Able to develop relationships and build rapport with people at all levels face to face and over the phone
Good research skills and the desire to become an expert in your field
A great team player with willingness to exceed expectations
Ability to work with urgency and to deadlines
A valid UK driving licence

What does the role involve?

The opportunity to work with an exciting mix of national and local brands, placing the best talent into their teams.
Overseeing the full recruitment process managing both candidates and clients.
Source candidates via networking, job boards, advertising and headhunting
Attend client and candidate meetings
Screening of candidate CV's and face to face interviews
Develop and expand specialist market knowledge
Generate new business by attending meetings, networking events and phone calls
Maintain relationships with existing clients
