Are you currently in a senior HR position looking for your first step into a Management position?
Have you got experience working within a Food Manufacturing company?

I m currently recruiting for a company close to Thetford who is looking at introducing a new HR manager to their team. The company is based in Norfolk and is commutable from the likes of Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, Swaffham and Norwich.

The company in 2019 is recreating their training and development programme and they want someone with the drive and desire to help implement a new programme that will improve the skill set of all members of staff. Ideally, you will have had a similar experience working in a Food FMCG or Agricultural environment and be able to apply the skills you ve gained to this fantastic new opportunity. You will be working Monday to Friday, 8am until 5pm and day to you will be responsible for:

Determine, organise and implement all HR policies, adhering to the legal and ethical requirements
Take responsibility for recruitment and labour planning, liaising with the departments in questions to determine the requirements for the business objectives
Participate and deliver projects, liaising with the senior team to achieve the objectives set out by the business
Maintain your knowledge and keep yourself informed of any changes that could affect the HR operations, ensuring your able to guide the business

In order to achieve these day to day tasks, you will need to have the following skills:

Extensive experience working in a Senior or Managerial HR position within a Food FMCG environment, working with senior managers up to Director level
Excellent computer skills revolving mainly around Microsoft Office
Having a high attention to details, maintaining this while working under pressure
Have an extensive commercial understanding

Ideally the company would like you to have experience with ethical auditing and compliance, however this is not a necessity. This position would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for the first step into a Managerial position from Senior HR or for an already well established manager who is looking to carve their own path into a company that is expanding and growing.
