Architectural Technician
Initial Location: Dereham, Norfolk, NR19 1JG
  • Salary dependent on experience
  • Permanent, Full-Time position
  • 23 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays

A fantastic opportunity is immediately available for an experienced and ambitious Architectural Technician. 
We are looking to welcome the successful applicant to play an important part in the detailing, modelling and management of build of a wide range of projects delivered across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors in Norfolk.
The successful candidate will be a key part in the success of our building projects. 
The successful candidate will be a skilled draughtsman with experience of detailing residential and commercial projects, highly motivated, professional and organised with the aim of producing a coordinated design.  Familiarity with steel construction and industrial cladding systems an advantage.

Job Requirements:

Job Requirements:
To be considered for this Design Co-Ordinator role you will: 
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience of designing and building projects.
  • Have experience working with steel, cladding, concrete, timber and masonry.
  • Be proficient in the use of AutoCAD with proven track record in delivering high standards of draughtsmanship.
  • Experience with X-Steel is desirable though not essential.
  • Have a clean driving licence and use of car.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key responsibilities of this Structural CAD Technician role include but not limited to: 
  • Play an important part in the detailing and modelling of a wide range of building structures projects
  • Liaise closely with engineers and site staff to ensure accurate drawing representation and safe site practices
  • Site supervision to ensure projects are built to specification.
Working hours will be 08:15 to 17:00 Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunch break each day.
