Support Worker Youth / Adult - Do you have Support work experience or have a passion for supporting people of varying ages and different abilities?

If so come and join our team at Inroads and be a part of a fantastic independent service provider of unique, flexible and person centred services for children and adults with a range of abilities including learning disabilities, behavioural challenges and other complex needs.

As a Youth Support Worker our young people are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, fun loving, professional support workers in Ipswich and Hadleigh.

The key focus of this role will be to work flexibly with young people to engage them and promote learning and fun opportunities to develop their educational and life skills

We have young adult supported living tenants looking for creative, committed and energetic community access focused Support Workers in Hadleigh and surrounding Suffolk areas.

As an Adult Support worker the key focus is to be person centred and active in facilitating an ordinary lives model within supported living homes and for some young adults preparing them to move from residential adult living to supported living services.

Linked with the above Inroads have additional opportunities as a home based carer where you will be facilitating people to return home from care / hospital settings whom may have physical or emotional / mental health needs.

Some key responsibilities include:

-Be a great team member and part of the Inroads family
-Provide personal care
-Be aware of and act within Suffolk and the company's pider Safeguarding and Vulnerable Children Adults Policy and Procedure
-Contribute to the health, safety and security of individuals and their environment

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes

-Effective communication skills both written and verbal
-An empathetic and sensitive approach to care
-Willingness to complete care qualification relevant to the role
-Reliable /Flexible
-Be a positive role model

On offer is an hourly rate of £7.90 - £8.00 and flexible working hours. You will also be entitled to pay breaks and night enhancement pay, 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays.
