Job Requirements:

The role…

We are looking for an Outsourcing Assistant to join the Business and Private Client Team in our Holt office. Our Outsourcing Team provide an outsourced finance service to our clients and provide a hands on compliance role that meets or exceeds expectations.

More information on the role - main responsibilities:

Accounts:
  • Ledger processing and reconciliation
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Posting sales and purchase invoices on to accounting software
  • Resolving queries with clients
  • Ensures the efficient use of appropriate software packages internally and supporting clients’ accounting systems
Payroll:
  • Learning all aspects of the payroll function to be able to help the team with the preparation of client payrolls
  • Assisting the team with administrative duties
Clients:
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with clients and learn about their businesses and requirements
  • Acquire a full awareness of the wide range of services which Larking Gowen offer to clients
Training:
  • Attend training courses as identified, in order to develop both technical and personal skills and keeps records for compliance purposes
Other:
  • Adhere to the firms risk management policies and procedures
  • Undertakes other duties to meet the demands of the business
Desirables:

Education and qualification:
  • Maths and English Language at GCSE or equivalent

Other:
  • Knowledge of Cloud software
  • Experience of Sage 50, QuickBooks and similar programmes
  • Prior bookkeeping experience
